Frére Jan Tea Towel in a Chequered Frame

Buvez-vous? When we saw this tea towel that a client brought in for framing, we knew we wanted to mimic the stained glass border of the illustrated image to create a bespoke Chequered design. We mounted the tea towel to an off-white conservation board that matched the fabric and used matching fillets along the inside of the frame to create some breathing room, we then pulled three colours from the illustration to use in our Chequered dseign. We love how striking the end result is and think this will look marvellous in a kitchen, above a bar, or in a wine cellar.
