Stained Timber Mirror with Leather Straps and Brass Poles
A medley of materials, this mirror is framed using a blue-grey stained timber. Four handmade leather straps are affixed to the top and bottom, which are attached to two decorative antique brass metal rods, which will be affixed to the wall and give the illusion of supporting the mirror in place, though a concealed split batten is fitted at the back to properly support the mirror. We photographed the mirror on its side in the workshop, but we can't wait to see this special piece in its proper orientation in-situ on the wall.
