As an alternative to mountboard, we also offer timber mounts, which we prepare with gesso to create a smooth, uninterrupted finish. The gessoed mount can then be finished in any of our finishes. Timber mounts give us the option for much deeper mounts, and can be made as thick as 25mm if required.
